I have been taking an on-line marketing course to try to help me with my business. I have been prodding along since the beginning of this month and have now decided that this program is steering me towards phone soliciting from leads that I have to buy. Alas....this is not what I had in mind. I was looking for something to help me get clients and customers via the internet. So I think I will exercise my 90 day satisfaction guaranteed option and get a refund less the 10% "restocking" fee.
I wish I was not so ignorant about how the internet stuff worked. I am now in the market for a more interactive website. One that allows ME to have complete control of what I can put on it. You know...not like a "canned" website where I only get to put my stuff on a generic style page with not other options on it...I want to be able to have advertisers, let people pay for things from it, schedule appts. from it, order Young Living essential oils from it, etc. More time needed cruising around the web trying to find exactly what I need. Seems like days and days are being wasted when I want immediate results!
I just need to win the lottery!
I read my horror-scope this morning and it said for me to not get bent outta shape over a delayed check that is coming to me. My first thought was great....Mike is gonna stiff me this month on my money. And the second thought was "oh, right....Dead-beat-Billy is finally gonna make a payment on his massage therapy account....fat chance of that". And then I just forgot all about it this morning and got busy doing other things....that were making me be depressed about my business situation and low cash flow. This afternoon I get a phone call from Billy's attorney....Whooooooo-hoooooooo! They are gonna cut me a check for payment in full. I should have it next week. That money is a huge chunk. It will pay for all of November's bills. I am so happy. It buys me some time for one more month of trying to get an email campaign going to increase my business and I won't have to go out and look for another chiro office right yet to work out of. Prayers are answered, or at least solutions do present themselves when ya reach a dead end.

My First Blog! (Mikki helped me with setting this up)
I am obviously not as computer savvy as I think I am, or ever hope to be!
After Mikki assures me that this is not on the internet for the entire universe to see, I happily agreed to have a blog account because she has threatened me with not being able to see the current pictures of my future grand child(ren) as she informs me that she will be posting to her blog instead of sending out individual emails for everyone. (I did promply point out to her that I am not "everyone") :)
I got to read Micah's blogs and am not surprised at my son's eloquence and humor. I am in awe of modern technology that is now allowing me to keep in (better) touch with my family. Micah has never been a "letter writer" and am amazed to be able to see his written thoughts and expressions and know what is on his mind and in his heart. It also makes me not worry so much about Micah all the time. BTY...I love the title of Micah's blog and had to come up with something just as catchy! I didn't copy his..... I put a "ii" after mine! The words mean almost the same....I like my words better. Or... I could use the that line from the country music song..."lucky stars and battle scars" for the title!
There are few people in my life that have my total, unconditional love and trust. Micah and Mikki are at the top of this list for me. I am delighted and so happy that they are soon to be parents themselves. (more to the point....that I am soon to be a ganny! A real granny, not just a granny to my grand-cats.)
